Quinn - Riggs

Gabriel Quinn and Sandra Riggs announce their upcoming marriage on Sept. 1 in St. Paul.

Sandra is the daughter of Dennis and Sheryl Riggs of Shevlin. Gabriel is the son of Thomas Quinn of Baraboo, Wis., and Barbara Stanek of North Freedom, Wis.

Sandra graduated from Bagley High School in 2003. She graduated from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology. She then attended the University of Minnesota Medical School and graduated with her M.D. in 2011. She is now in her second year of residency training at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis, specializing in the field of psychiatry.

Gabriel graduated from Baraboo High School in 2000 and then attended the University of Minnesota where he graduated with Bachelor degrees in neuroscience and psychology. Since the completion of college he has worked in biomedical research, both in pharmaceuticals and medical devices. He currently works as a scientist/study director for a medical research company in the Twin Cities.
