Puposky man awaiting criminal sexual conduct charges

PUPOSKY - A 39-year-old Puposky man was arrested early Saturday morning on suspicion of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.

John Michael Luedecke has been arrested and remains in custody awaiting formal charges. Arraignment is expected Tuesday.

An assault was reported at 12:42 a.m. Saturday in Puposky, according to an incident report from the Beltrami County Sheriff's Office. The victim was taken to Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.

A search warrant was executed at the residence and Luedecke was arrested, according to the incident report.

Luedecke's criminal history includes convictions for alcohol use (misdemeanor), aggravated driving, disorderly conduct, and third-degree DWI.
