Public information meeting set on EIS
The Minnesota Department of Commerce Office of Energy Security and United States Department of Agriculture, Rural Utilities Service announce the availability of the Draft Environmental Impact Statement for the proposed Bemidji-Grand Rapids 230kV transmission line project.
A public information meeting will be held from 6-9 p.m. today, March 18, at the Leech Lake Tribal College, 6945 Little Wolf Road N.W., Cass Lake.
The meeting is open to the public and will include an open house, followed by brief presentations on the EIS. There will also be an opportunity for participants to comment on the EIS for this project.

The draft EIS is also available at public libraries in Bemidji, Blackduck, Bovey, Cass Lake, Coleraine, Grand Rapids, Longville and Walker.
