Paul Iverson, president of Progressive Health Care of Bemidji Inc., has announced that Progressive Health Care has received accreditation status from the Accreditation Commission for Health Care Inc.
Services accredited include Infusion Pharmacy, Infusion Nursing and Durable Medical Equipment.
Progressive Health Care is the sister company of Iverson Corner Drug.
Accreditation is a voluntary activity in which health care organizations submit to peer review of their internal policies, processes and patient care delivery against national standards. By attaining accreditation, Progressive Health Care has demonstrated its commitment to maintain a higher level of competency and strive for excellence in its products, services and patient satisfaction.
Progressive Health Care has been in business since 1994. It is the only home infusion pharmacy in the area and provides infusion products and medication to home care patients and residents of long-term care facilities.
