Politics: Conservative political speakers featured at events
BEMIDJI – A pair of conservative political commentators are scheduled to speak in Bemidji this month.
Bill Whittle will speak at 4:30 p.m. March 16 at the Sanford Center.
The website for the Beltrami County GOP characterizes Whittle as the “hottest up and coming conservative political commentator of our time” and America’s “Virtual President.”
Admission to the event is free. Whittle was featured at RightOnline 2012 and the Wake Up America rally. He’s also author of the video essay series Firewall and Afterburner.
Donations to cover expenses will be accepted during the program, which is being sponsored in part by the Northwest Minnesota TEA Party Patriots, Bemidji TEA Party/Beltrami County Republicans and the Congressional District 7 Republican Committee.
Also, Jason Lewis will be the keynote speaker during a 2013 7th Congressional District Republican fundraiser March 15 at the Sanford Center.
Lewis is a nationally syndicated radio talk show host.
The event from 6-9 p.m. includes a social hour, dinner and keynote speech.
Banquet tickets are $40 per person, or $20 with no food.
