Police Report for April 3
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:
3:21 am. Monday, 100 block of Third Street Northwest. A vehicle was damaged.
12:49 a.m. Sunday, 800 block of 26th Street Northwest. Two vehicles were damaged.
12:36 a.m. Monday, 900 block of 30th Street Northwest. A stereo was stolen from a vehicle.
3:34 p.m. Sunday, Stoner Avenue Southeast. A street sign was stolen.
8:16 a.m. Saturday, 2400 block of Hangar Drive Northwest. Motor vehicle tampering and potential damage was reported with vehicles parked at an airport hangar.
11:18 p.m. Sunday, 200 block of Gemmel Avenue Southwest. A possible break-in was reported. A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of trespassing.
7:15 p.m. Sunday, 20th Street Northwest. There was a report of three boys attempting to break into a garage. They were located across the street and said they were just pulling on some foam to look inside the garage.
2:12 a.m. Sunday, 100 block of Third Street northwest. A large group in front of the Toast Beaver was yelling and pushing each other. The group was broken up and warned.
12:31 a.m. Sunday, 100 block of Third Street Northwest. Two men were cited for disorderly conduct and urinating in public.
9:44 p.m. Saturday, 500 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. An intoxicated male was removed from Orton's gas station and given a courtesy ride.
6:20 p.m. Sunday, 2600 block of Delton Avenue Northwest. Harassment complaint between neighbors.
5:58 p.m. Sunday, Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. Witness tampering was reported near Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest and Park Avenue Northwest.
2:47 a.m. Sunday, 1600 block of Bemidji Avenue North. Renters were advised of a noise complaint and warned to keep the noise down.
12:19 a.m. Sunday, 1100 block of Beltrami Avenue Northwest. People were walking down the sidewalk too loudly. They were told to quiet down.
11:24 p.m. Saturday, 1600 block of Calihan Avenue Northeast. A man was advised of the disorderly house ordinance. The music was turned down.
11:43 a.m. Saturday, 1100 block of Paul Bunyan Drive South. A woman was verbally warned about an ordinance prohibiting the use of ATVs within the city limits.
The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls:
10:35 p.m. Sunday, Popple Drive Southeast. A gunshot was reportedly heard. Nothing found.
4:08 p.m. Sunday, 600 block of Patriot Drive Northwest. The caller was being harassed for settlement of a drug debt.
12:57 p.m. Sunday, Lammers Township. An iPod Touch was stolen.
11:34 a.m. Saturday, Battle River Road, Kelliher. The caller reported found property at a pawn show that he said was stolen from his residence while he was in custody.
5:52 a.m. Sunday, Jones Townhall Road Northwest, Solway. A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of DWI after he was found passed out in a truck behind a gas station in Solway.
11:15 p.m. Saturday, Hensel Drive Northeast. The caller wsa concerned about the number of cars traveling on Hensel Road. The caller was advised about the "Frat Lands" area and their propensity for large parties.
9:25 p.m. Saturday, Supreme Court Northwest. The caller reported the smell of marijuana. Three juveniles admitted smoking marijuana and were brought to their parents.
8:21 p.m. Saturday, U.S. Highway 2 West. Assisted the State Patrol with a ditch complaint. The drive, a 31-year-old woman, was arrested by the State Patrol on suspicion of DWI.
5:11 p.m. Saturday, 9700 block of Centerline Road Northwest, Solway. A tree was removed from the roadway.
