Police looking for woman who left care home Saturday night

BEMIDJI - Police are looking for a woman described as a "vulnerable adult" who left a care home Saturday.

The woman is described as being white and in her early 30s, Beltrami County emergency management director Beryl Wernberg said. She was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt and black shorts, with her brown hair pulled into a ponytail.

She left the home on Cardinal Road near Highway 2 about 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Police said she was riding a red, three-wheel bicycle with a basket on the front.

Police are asking citizens not to approach the woman, but to call 911 or 333-9111.
