Police Report
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:
Theft
11:18 a.m. Tuesday: A theft was reported on Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. The value of items taken was not available.
8:24 p.m. Monday: A theft was reported in the 1400 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. The value of items taken was not available.
5:56 p.m. Monday: Money and a cell phone were reported stolen in the 1600 block of Minnesota Avenue Northwest.
9:26 a.m. Monday: A 22-year-old man was arrested for theft of a cell phone in the 2500 block of Phoenix Loop Northwest.
Sex crime
3:10 p.m. Monday: A sex crime was reported at a location on Minnesota Avenue Northwest.
Fraud
2:44 p.m. Monday: An individual reported fraudulent activity in their checking account.
Property
11:43 a.m. Monday: Officers responded to a report of two stolen snowmobiles that had been found in the 2500 block of Phoenix Loop Northwest.
Burglary
8:45 a.m. Monday: Officers responded to a report of a burglary in the 1800 block of Bemidji Avenue North.
Sheriff’s Report
The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls:
Property damage
7:41 p.m. Monday, intersection of Wilton Hill Road Northwest and Trengove Road Northwest. A tire flew off one vehicle and struck a second vehicle.
Accident
5:37 p.m. Monday, Highway 2 East. A vehicle went into the ditch, and rolled several times before landing on its wheels. The driver didn’t need medical attention.
Warrant
12:29 p.m. Monday, 300 block of Summit Avenue West in Blackduck. A man was arrested for a felony warrant.
