Police and sheriff report for April 10
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:
10:39 a.m. Monday, 1401 Paul Bunyan Drive NW. A hit and run crash occurred at Paul Bunyan Mall.
10:19 a.m. Monday, intersection of Birchmont Drive Northeast and Bemidji Avenue. A cable wire was damaged by a fallen tree.
The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls:
1:29 p.m. Monday, 1500 block of Jefferson Avenue Southwest. A mailbox was struck.
12:51 p.m. Monday, 1900 block of Lakeview Drive Southwest. Someone reported receiving a scam phone call in which the suspect posed as the complainant’s grandson and asked for money to get bailed out of jail.
12:29 p.m. Monday, 10100 block of Maxine Way Northwest. Deputies responded to a theft complaint.
