Police report

The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:

Theft

10:15 a.m. Friday, 700 block of 31st Street Northwest. A resident reported the theft of a tomato box from in front of a garage along with numerous prank calls.

1:55 p.m. Saturday, 3100 block of St. Onge Drive Northeast. A resident reported the theft of five shepherd hooks and five solar lights from the yard.

7:01 a.m. Sunday, 1600 block of 23rd Street Northwest. A resident reported the theft of a Coleman grill from the yard.

9:55 a.m. Sunday, 2000 block of Chippewa Drive Northeast. A resident reported a red gym bag was stolen and the contents dumped in the yard. The owner's name is on the bag.

12:38 p.m. Sunday, 1500 Birchmont Drive Northeast. A vehicle owner said a car was broken into and rummaged through. Nothing was stolen.

2:25 p.m. Sunday, 1800 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. A mini-storage unit rented reported that a lock was cut on the unit and Guitar Hero video games valued at $100 were stolen.

6:47 p.m. Sunday, 1300 block of Bemidji Avenue. A resident reported the theft of a lawn chair lounger valued at $300 from the yard.

8:26 p.m. Sunday, 3400 block of 15th Street Northwest. A resident reported the theft from a dresser drawer of a bag containing $5,000 cash.

Burglary

3:41 a.m. Sunday, 1800 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. A business manager reported that a lock on a mini-storage unit had been cut, but no evidence of theft was observed.

8:23 a.m. Sunday, 1900 block of Chippewa Drive Northeast. A resident reported that someone entered the garage and stolen an XM satellite radio and rummaged through another vehicle leaving the garage and vehicle doors open.

1:48 a.m. Friday, 900 block of Irvine Avenue Northwest.

11:31 p.m. Saturday, 1600 block of America Avenue Northwest.

11:57 p.m. Saturday, 1600 block of 23rd Street Northwest.

1:08 a.m. Sunday, 700 block of 26th Street Northwest.

Gasoline drive-off theft

9:27 a.m. Saturday, 2400 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest.

ATV complaint

8:10 p.m. Saturday, 100 block of First Street Northwest.

Property damage

5:05 p.m. Sunday, Birch Lane Northeast.

10:22 p.m. Sunday, 28th Street Northwest.

Sheriff's report

The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls:

Theft

9:03 a.m. Saturday, 2100 block of Finch Lane Southeast, Cass Lake. A resident reported the theft of a three-wheeler.

Narcotics complaint

11:08 a.m. Saturday, 700 block of Sunset Way Northwest. Deputies responded to a complaint and found a bag of marijuana, ash residue of marijuana and a pipe containing marijuana at a residence.

Arson

4:43 p.m. Saturday, Harvest Road Northwest and Everts Road Northwest. Dispatch received a report of a large hay bale set on fire and the suspect vehicle being chased by a farmer. The chase ended at the Red Lake Reservation line.

ATV complaint

5:58 p.m. Saturday, Battle River Road Northeast, Kelliher.

Property damage

2:36 a.m. Sunday, 1800 block of Roosevelt Road Southeast.

8:04 a.m. Sunday, 5100 block of 15th Street Northwest.

10:42 a.m. Sunday, 9900 block of Irvine Avenue Northwest.

3:09 p.m. Sunday, 500 block of Centerpoint Court Northwest.

The Bemidji Fire Department responded to the following calls:

2:40 p.m. Saturday, 4800 block of Great Divide Road Northwest. About 12 large bales of hay were on fire.

7:37 p.m. Saturday, 1700 block of 30th Street Northwest. Medical call.

7:55 p.m. Saturday, 1200 block of 34thStreet Northwest. Alarm.

1:28 a.m. Sunday, Central Avenue and Second Street Southeast. Medical call.

3:22 a.m. Sunday, Bemidji State University Tamarac Hall. Medical call.

2:21 p.m. Sunday, 1800 block of 30th Street Northwest. Medical call.

9:57 p.m. Sunday, 2900 block of Ridgeway Avenue Northwest. Alarm.
