Police report
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:
Theft
10:15 a.m. Friday, 700 block of 31st Street Northwest. A resident reported the theft of a tomato box from in front of a garage along with numerous prank calls.
1:55 p.m. Saturday, 3100 block of St. Onge Drive Northeast. A resident reported the theft of five shepherd hooks and five solar lights from the yard.
7:01 a.m. Sunday, 1600 block of 23rd Street Northwest. A resident reported the theft of a Coleman grill from the yard.
9:55 a.m. Sunday, 2000 block of Chippewa Drive Northeast. A resident reported a red gym bag was stolen and the contents dumped in the yard. The owner's name is on the bag.
12:38 p.m. Sunday, 1500 Birchmont Drive Northeast. A vehicle owner said a car was broken into and rummaged through. Nothing was stolen.
2:25 p.m. Sunday, 1800 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. A mini-storage unit rented reported that a lock was cut on the unit and Guitar Hero video games valued at $100 were stolen.
6:47 p.m. Sunday, 1300 block of Bemidji Avenue. A resident reported the theft of a lawn chair lounger valued at $300 from the yard.
8:26 p.m. Sunday, 3400 block of 15th Street Northwest. A resident reported the theft from a dresser drawer of a bag containing $5,000 cash.
Burglary
3:41 a.m. Sunday, 1800 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. A business manager reported that a lock on a mini-storage unit had been cut, but no evidence of theft was observed.
8:23 a.m. Sunday, 1900 block of Chippewa Drive Northeast. A resident reported that someone entered the garage and stolen an XM satellite radio and rummaged through another vehicle leaving the garage and vehicle doors open.

The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls:
Theft
9:03 a.m. Saturday, 2100 block of Finch Lane Southeast, Cass Lake. A resident reported the theft of a three-wheeler.
Narcotics complaint
11:08 a.m. Saturday, 700 block of Sunset Way Northwest. Deputies responded to a complaint and found a bag of marijuana, ash residue of marijuana and a pipe containing marijuana at a residence.
Arson
4:43 p.m. Saturday, Harvest Road Northwest and Everts Road Northwest. Dispatch received a report of a large hay bale set on fire and the suspect vehicle being chased by a farmer. The chase ended at the Red Lake Reservation line.
