The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:
9:47 p.m. Friday, 1800 block of Birchmont Drive Northeast. Females were reportedly fighting on the Bemidji State University campus.
6:10 p.m. Friday, 3000 block of Cedar Lane Northwest. An illegal fire was reported. The homeowner was advised of a burning ban and educated about environmental burning regulations.
1:22 p.m. Friday, 900 block of Bemidji Avenue North. A sexual assault was reported.
The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls:
6:34 p.m. Friday, 20400 block of New Maple Ridge Northeast, Hines. A burglary was reported at a rural Blackduck home.
The Bemidji Fire Department responded to the following calls:
5:18 p.m. Wednesday, 400 block of Fourth Street Southeast. Brush fire.
9:37 a.m. Thursday, 8700 block of Irvine Avenue Northwest. Fire alarm.
1:25 p.m. Thursday, Third Street Northwest and Minnesota Avenue Northwest. Gas leak from vehicle.
7:07 p.m. Thursday, 9600 block of Sunnyview Court Northwest. Carbon monoxide check, no CO detected.
2:33 a.m. Friday, 600 block of Bemidji Avenue North. Medical call.
2:07 p.m. Friday, U.S. Highway 2 West. Structure fire. Eleven firefighters responded to the scene with two fire engines, two squads and another vehicle. Five firefighters remained on standby. Firefighters remained on scene about two hours.
6:11 p.m. Friday, 3000 block of Cedar Lane Northwest. Brush fire.
11:18 a.m. Saturday, 13th Street Northwest and Irvine Avenue North. Medical call.
4:32 a.m. Saturday, 1400 block of Norton Avenue Northwest. Small wildland fire.
8:14 a.m. Saturday, 600 block of 10th Street Northwest. Landscape timers were smoldering in a stormwater drain. They were extinguished.
