Police report

The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:

Theft from vehicle

8:06 a.m. Tuesday, 2400 block of Birchmont Drive Northeast. A Winchester .303 caliber rifle with a peep scope was stolen along with a Garmin GPS and CDs were stolen.

Property damage

12:20 a.m. Tuesday, 400 block of Third Street northwest and America Avenue Northwest.

8:53 a.m. Tuesday, 1900 block of Bemidji Avenue North.

Hit-and-run accident

10:59 p.m. Tuesday, 500 block of Lincoln Avenue Southeast.

Sheriff's report

The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls:

Theft

9:11 a.m. Tuesday, Division Street West. A Stainless Mark II .22 caliber handgun was taken.

Car fire

12:37 p.m. Tuesday, 9200 block of Lake Alice Lane Northwest. A motorcycle was having carburetor issues and its motor caught on fire. The fire was put out by the caller with a fire extinguisher.

4:47 p.m. Tuesday, 2800 block of Ridgeway Avenue Northwest. Medical call.

6:02 p.m. Tuesday, Eighth Street Northwest and Park Avenue Northwest. A cover was off a manhole.

7:55 p.m. Tuesday, Beltrami County Jail. Medical call.

2:34 a.m. Wednesday, 2800 block of Ridgeway Avenue Northwest. Medical call.

9:17 a.m. Wednesday, 1400 block of Railroad Street Southeast. Medical call.
