9:50 a.m. Monday, 13359 Irvine Ave. NW. A counterfeit $10 bill was used at Newby’s Market.

The Bemidji Fire Department responded to the following calls:
8:15 a.m. Tuesday, 1700 block of Birchmont Drive Northeast. Smoke alarm.
9:20 a.m. Tuesday, intersection of 10th Street Northwest and Bemidji Avenue North. Motorcycle accident with no injuries.
