Police Report
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:
Thefts
8:47 a.m. Tuesday, 1600 block of Fifth Street Northeast. A theft was reported.
8:45 a.m. Tuesday, 400 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. A theft was reported.
4:42 a.m. Tuesday, 3500 block of St. Onge Drive Northeast. A theft from a vehicle was reported.
3:19 p.m. Monday, 400 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Southeast. A theft was reported.
11:27 a.m. Monday, 3600 block of Birchmont Drive Northeast. A shotgun was stolen from a vehicle.
Drugs
2:13 p.m. Monday, 800 block of Irvine Avenue Northwest. Two people were arrested for drug possession.
Property damage
9:11 a.m. Monday, 600 block of Grant Avenue Southeast. Vandalism was reported at a construction site.
Sheriff’s Report
The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls:
Vehicle calls
4:23 p.m. Monday, Flat Balsam Road Northwest. A stolen vehicle was found burned.
Accident
5:46 a.m. Monday, intersection of Roosevelt Road Southeast and Lazy Ike Lane Southeast. A car hit a power line pole, which sheared six feet off the ground. No one was around when authorities arrived, and the power company was called.
