Police Report

The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:

Thefts

10:35 p.m. Sunday, 2800 block of Ridgeway Avenue Northwest. A stolen vehicle was reported to possibly be in the area, but it was not located.

12:57 p.m. Sunday, 800 block of America Avenue Northwest. A cell phone was reported stolen.

12:09 a.m. Sunday, 3500 block of Birchmont Drive Northeast. A theft from a vehicle was reported.

7:03 p.m. Saturday, 2211 Paul Bunyan Drive NW. A gas drive off was reported at Murphy USA.

10:59 a.m. Saturday, 900 block of Irvine Avenue Northwest. Damage to and theft from a vehicle.

8:14 a.m. Saturday, 2500 block of Park Avenue Northwest. Theft from and damage to a vehicle.

7:33 a.m. Saturday, 1000 block of Washington Avenue South. Theft from and damage to a vehicle.

Burglary

7:46 p.m. Sunday, 700 block of 19th Street Northwest. A burglary was reported.

Assault

9:07 a.m. Sunday, 1600 block of Sixth Street Southeast. A man was arrested for second degree assault and domestic assault.

Suspicious

11:30 p.m. Saturday, 800 block of 26th Street Northwest. A reported assault witness was in a parked vehicle. When officers approached the car, a marijuana odor was detected. A search of the car found a bottle of alcohol, a weapon and suspected stolen property.

Sheriff’s Report

The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls:

Thefts

6:54 p.m. Sunday, 3000 block of 16th Street Southwest. Deputies responded to a burglary.

3:27 p.m. Saturday, 1718 block of Sunnyside Road Southeast. A stereo was stolen from a car at Aazee’s Auto Salvage.

8:19 a.m. Saturday, 1200 block of Little Norway Avenue Southeast. A vehicle was reportedly broken into.

5:35 a.m. Saturday. Two suspects were arrested for tampering and theft from vehicles in Northern Township. The investigation is ongoing.

Fire Report

The Bemidji Fire Department responded to the following calls:

7:15 a.m. Sunday, 600 block of Railroad Street Southeast. A potentially dangerous amount of carbon monoxide was detected.
