The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following reports:
Traffic stop
8:06 p.m. Friday, Blackduck. A driver was cited for driving after cancelation after the vehicle was stopped for littering. The passenger received a warning for littering.
Disturbing the peace
7:38 p.m. Friday, Alps Court Northwest. Loud music complaint.
Fraud
3:32 p.m. Friday, Jacks Road. Scams were reported sent by fax. Complainant was advised not to send any money.
1:44 p.m. Friday, Hines. Complainant received calls asking for private information and bank information.
Theft
12:05 p.m. Friday, Solway. Theft of a battery was reported.
Fire Report
The Bemidji Fire Department responded to the following reports:
10:54 a.m. Saturday, 100 block of Paul Bunyan Drive South. Medical call.
5:45 p.m. Friday, Harmony Natural Foods Cooperative. Medical call.
4:57 p.m. Friday, 15th Street and Irvine Avenue Northwest. Motor-vehicle accident; canceled en route.
4:10 p.m. Friday, 26th Street and Birchmont Drive. Check on low-hanging power line.
