Police Report

The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:

Theft

6:53 p.m. Tuesday, 400 block of Wilson Avenue Southeast. A large amount of cash was stolen from a residence.

Drugs

9:08 a.m. Tuesday, 1200 block of Fifth Street Northwest. A juvenile attempted to smuggle Adderall pills into the Northwest Juvenile Center.

Sheriff's Report

The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls:

Assault

12:14 p.m. Tuesday, 5000 block of Theater Lane Northwest. An assault in progress at an Eckles Township trailer park resulted in three arrests for various offenses

Fraud

12:07 p.m. Tuesday, Bemidji Avenue North. A fraudulent $5 bill was reported at Ruttger's Birchmont Lodge.

Theft

11:44 a.m. Tuesday, South Movil Lake Road Northwest. A Northern Township resident reported the theft of funds from her checking account via online purchases. A suspect has been identified.

Burglary

7:53 a.m. Tuesday, Main Street East. Tools were stolen from a shop in Tenstrike.

Drugs

12:21 a.m. Tuesday, 600 block of Minnesota Avenue Northwest. An inmate in the Beltrami County Jail was found in possession of marijuana.

The Bemidji Fire Department responded to the following calls:

7:35 p.m. Tuesday, 900 block of 21st Street Northwest. Medical call.
