The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:
Fraud
3:43 p.m. Wednesday, 1000 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. A counterfeit bill was taken into possession from Security State bank.
10:32 a.m. Wednesday, 700 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. Counterfeit money was found in a deposit at Bank Forward.
Thefts
2:44 p.m. Wednesday, 2600 block of Calihan Avenue Northeast. Medication was stolen from a residence.
6:08 a.m. Wednesday, 2400 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. Gas drive-off theft.
Sheriff's Report
The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls:
Theft
4:16 p.m. Wednesday, Fern Street West. A trolling motor was stolen.
Fire Report
The Bemidji Fire Department responded to the following calls:
10:36 a.m. Wednesday, U.S. highways 2 and 89. Personal-injury accident, canceled en route.
11:56 a.m. Wednesday, 300 block of Minnesota Avenue Northwest. Property damage accident, no injuries.
12:44 p.m. Wednesday, Walmart. Medical call.
6:12 p.m. Wednesday, 1200 block of 30th Street Northwest. Fire alarm, caused by cooking incident.
12:53 a.m. Thursday, 200 block of Melby Lane Southeast, Wilton. Carbon monoxide check, elevated levels were not detected.
