Police Report
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:
Suspicious
2:31 a.m. Monday, 23rd Street Northwest and Pine Ridge Avenue Northwest. A 26-year-old man was arrested after several individuals fled police on foot from a motor vehicle.
Theft
10:51 p.m. Sunday, 500 block of Minnesota Avenue Northwest. Medicine was stolen from a residence.
Fraud
4:09 p.m. Sunday, 400 block of Bemidji Avenue North. A counterfeit $100 was passed at a business.
Disorderly conduct
2:17 a.m. Sunday, Third Street Northwest. A subject was advised of poor conduct while climbing the bicycle rack on Third Street. He was sent on his way without formal charges.
Property damage
7:56 p.m. Saturday, Park Avenue Southwest. Officer responded to smoke from a railcar and found a small fire inside. Property damage and graffiti was noted.
Sheriff's Report
The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls:
Thefts
2:50 p.m. Sunday, Gull Lake Loop Road Northeast. Tools were stolen from an open bed of a pickup truck.
12:58 a.m. Sunday, Sandpiper Road Northeast. Deputies interrupted the theft of diesel fuel at a gravel pit.
Burglary
4:08 p.m. Saturday, Sundown Road Northwest, Solway. Tools and an outboard motor fuel tank were stolen.
Weapons
1:34 p.m. Saturday, Archery Road Northwest. A 23-year-old man was arrested for possession of a dangerous weapon and violating the conditions of his release.
Accident
10:40 a.m. Saturday, Brook Lake Road Southeast. A male suffered minor injuries after he fell from a boat.
Fire Report
The Bemidji Fire Department responded to the following calls:
6:38 p.m. Saturday, near Wastewater Treatment Plant. Assault, canceled.
8:06 p.m. Saturday, railroad tracks near Irvine bridge overpass. Possible fire.
9:42 p.m. Saturday, 1800 block of Greg Court Northwest. Smoke alarm, determined to be dead battery.
11:45 a.m. Sunday, Bemidji High School. Fire alarm.
