Police and fire report for May 13
Police report
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:
Bike theft
1:40 p.m. Friday, Fourth Street Northwest and Beltrami Avenue Northwest. A Schwinn Timberline 26-inch silver mountain bike was stolen. The loss is valued at $700.
Burglary
6:10 a.m. Monday, Glass Shack. A door was forced open and several hand-made necklaces and other items were stolen. Some necklaces were found in the parking lot.
Thefts
Monday, Sadek's Repair and Welding. A handmade trailer was stolen.
Noon, Monday, Taco John's. A napkin dispenser was stolen from the counter. The dispenser is part of a condiment rack, which would need to be replaced in its entirety for about $350.
8:52 p.m. Monday, 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. A magnetic door placard for Bemidji Baptist Church was taken from a vehicle. The loss is valued at about $25.
Peace disturbances
11:23 p.m. Monday, 600 block of America Avenue Northwest.
12:49 a.m. Tuesday, 900 block of Mississippi Avenue Northwest and Irvine Avenue North.
Sheriff's report
The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls:
Theft
8:39 a.m. Monday, 300 block of Frohn Road Northeast. Two boats were stolen. One is a Crestliner and the other is an antique cedar boat.
Motor vehicle theft
10:29 p.m. Monday, 4800 block of Kappes Lane Southeast. A blue 1993 Ford F150 was stolen.
