The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:

Bike theft

5:11 p.m. Tuesday, 900 block of America Avenue Northwest. Two bikes were stolen, including a pink girls Mongoose and a white boys bike with decorative skulls.

Assault

10:06 p.m. Tuesday, 2900 block of Ridgeway Avenue Northwest. A man said he was hit in the head and $40 was taken from him.

Peace disturbance

9:54 p.m. Tuesday, 800 block of 26th Street Northwest.

Sheriff's Office

The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls:

Thefts

3:28 p.m. Monday, Becker Road Northwest, Solway. A riding lawn mower was reported as stolen. It had been borrowed by a neighbor.

4:49 p.m. Monday, Irvine Avenue Northwest. Two fishing rods, two fishing reels, two tackle boxes and a landing net were stolen from a garage.

Gas drive-off theft

9:08 p.m. Tuesday, 7100 block of Pete Lane Northwest.

Fire report

The Bemidji Fire Department responded to the following calls:

8:18 a.m. Tuesday, Bemidji State University heating plant. Fire alarm.

9:08 a.m. Tuesday, 1600 block of Bixby Avenue Northeast. Medical call.

7:16 a.m. Wednesday, 800 block of America Avenue Northwest. Medical call.
