Police report
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:
Fraud
10:44 a.m. Friday, 2500 block of Hannah Avenue Northwest. A man reported that someone had applied for and received a credit card in his name.
Theft from vehicle
12:10 p.m. Friday, 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. A man reported the theft of his Pioneer CD stereo from his car. It was reported that the theft occurred between 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Feb. 28. The stereo is valued at $100. It had a CD in it.
Animal bite
5:30 p.m. Friday, 1200 block of Bemidji Avenue North. A man reported that his dog bit a person Thursday at his residence. The dog was placed in the city pound.
Hit-and-run accident
2:14 p.m. Friday, 2100 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest.
Property damage
4:11 p.m. Friday, 2900 block of Division Street West.
4:12 p.m. Friday, 2900 block of Division Street West.
Fire report
The Bemidji Fire Department responded to the following call:
12:01 a.m. Saturday, 6100 block of Lynx Road Southeast. A possible structure fire was reported. A burnt ballast was found.
