Police Report
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:
Suspicious
7:37 p.m. Monday, 600 block of 20th Street Northwest. A suspicious vehicle was spotted in a neighborhood and a man was seen going door to door asking for donations.
Thefts
5 p.m. Monday, Ben Franklin. Items were stolen.
9:48 a.m. Monday, 600 block of 38th Street Northwest. A person called and reported money had been stolen.
7:36 a.m. Monday, North End Car Care. Tools were stolen.
Fraud
8:55 a.m. Monday, 2500 block of Red Pine Estates. A woman received a phone call from someone telling her she won a car. The suspect instructed her to mail a prepaid credit card to the suspect.
Disorderly conduct
1:38 a.m. Monday, 1600 block of 23rd Street Northwest. Three individuals were arguing over the use of a vehicle.
Sheriff's Report
The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls:
Burglary
2 p.m. Monday, 400 block of Main Street East, Tenstrike. Various types of leg hold traps were stolen from a garage.
Animal
11:51 a.m. Monday, 20600 block of Blue Eye Road Northeast, Hines. A dog was reportedly attacking another dog in a driveway.
Fraud
9:04 a.m. Monday, Bemidji. A Bemidji Township resident reported a fraud/identity theft incident in which her Social Security number was used to file taxes.
