Police and fire report for March 29
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:
2:52 a.m. Thursday, 2800 block of Ridgeway Avenue Northwest. A 22-year old man was arrested on felony reckless discharge of a firearm and gross misdemeanor endangerment of a child with a firearm, among other charges. Another man was arrested for gross misdemeanor obstructing the legal process.
8:58 p.m. Wednesday, 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. Officers responded to a report of a fight, and arrested a 20-year old man on a warrant, and cited him for shoplifting and underage drinking.
9:30 a.m. Wednesday, 100 block of 29th Street Northeast. Cash was stolen from a purse.
9:15 a.m. Wednesday, 200 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. Items pawned at Ideal Pawn were reported stolen in Hubbard County.
The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls:
2:21 p.m. Wednesday, 100 block of Clark Avenue South. Someone drove off without paying for gas.
The Bemidji Fire Department responded to the following calls:
12:05 p.m. Wednesday, 1400 block of Beltrami Avenue Northwest. Firefighters responded to an alarm.
