Police and fire report for March 28
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following reports:
10:22 a.m. Friday, Birchmont Drive Northeast. A Bemidji State University 14-day parking permit was reported stolen from the Bangsberg Fine Arts Complex parking lot. The complainant parked, using the permit, from 8:10-9:45 a.m. Thursday, and was ticked at 8:45 a.m. The passenger door does not lock. Nothing else was missing.
9:25 a.m. Friday, 1300 block of Third Street Southeast.
Drive-off gasoline theft
5:07 p.m. Friday, 2400 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest.
2:18 a.m., 800 block of 26th Street Northwest.
The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following reports:
8:20 a.m. Friday, Anne Street Northeast. A Honda generator was reported stolen from the back of a pickup parked north of Peterson Sheet Metal. Shoe and tire tracks were photographed. A Mountain Dew can was collected with two partial fingerprints on it.
1:13 p.m. Friday, 3800 block of Quincy Drive Southwest.
The Bemidji Fire Department responded to the following reports:
12:36 p.m. Saturday, 600 block of Pershing Avenue Southeast. Medical call.
1:30 p.m. Saturday, 6700 block of Shetland Lane Northwest. Grass fire, canceled en route.
