Police and Fire Report for March 27
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:
9:52 a.m. Monday, Birchmont Drive Northeast.
8:48 a.m. Monday, 1800 block of Bemidji Avenue North.
10:52 a.m. Sunday, 700 block of Mahnomen Drive Southeast. A fence was damaged and a car stereo was taken from a vehicle.
11:37 a.m. Saturday, 1700 block of Birchmont Drive Northeast. A purse was stolen from a vehicle.
2:06 a.m. Monday, 900 block of Washington Avenue South. Possible group fighting.
4:40 a.m. Sunday, 900 block of 30th Street Northwest. Numerous subjects were fighting. Two men were transported to Sanford Bemidji Medical Center for injuries. Three women were arrested for disorderly conduct. One woman was arrested for violating a no-drink order.
11:18 p.m. Sunday, Irvine Avenue Northwest. 911 call of a drunk driver hitting a pedestrian. Unable to locate caller.
1:40 p.m. Lake Avenue Northeast. The smell of natural gas was smelled. The Bemidji Fire Department checked the area but was unable to locate the smell.
9:42 a.m. Sunday, 1300 block of Anne Street Northwest. Staff requested an individual be removed from the property.
8:44 a.m. Monday, Beltrami Avenue Northwest. A tree was damaged in a yard.
6:49 a.m. Sunday, 1200 block of Third Street Southeast. Solar lights were damaged.
7:55 p.m. Saturday, 900 block of 26th Street Northwest. Gang graffiti was found on the back of a garage.
2:23 a.m. Monday, Beltrami Avenue Northwest. Noise disturbance. The source was not located.
12:09 a.m. Sunday, 300 block of Beltrami Avenue Northwest. A 21-year-old man was arrested for violating a no-drink order after being urinating in an alley behind a bar.
7:15 p.m. Saturday, 500 block of America Avenue Northwest. An intoxicated woman was seen lying on the sidewalk. She was given a courtesy ride to the People's Church.
10:57 a.m. Saturday, 100 block of 12th Street Northwest. Suspicious phone calls about credit cards were reported.
10:49 a.m. Saturday, 19th Street Northwest. A young girl was sleeping on a teeter-totter and did not want help from an officer.
The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls:
1:46 p.m. Sunday, Buttercup Lane Northwest. Illegal dumping was reported near a juvenile party spot.
12:06 a.m. Sunday, Dunne Road Northwest. Items were possibly stolen from a residence.
10:22 a.m. Saturday, Roosevelt Road Southeast. A caller reported his mail was being stolen from his mailbox.
4:28 p.m. Saturday, Gull Lake Loop. The ATV operators were located and informed of regulations of operation in right-of-ways.
1:57 p.m. Saturday, Irvine Avenue Northwest. The ATV operators were located and found to be operating in accordance with the law.
12:29 p.m. Saturday, Snowmass Drive Northwest. A fire was in a rock ring.
