2:23 p.m. Saturday, 400 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Southeast.

5:03 p.m. Saturday, 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest.

The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls:

Motor vehicle theft

5:36 p.m. March 14, 23100 block of state Highway 72 Northeast, Hines. A 1988 Ford was stolen. The vehicle is said to not be drivable.

Theft from vehicle

1:09 p.m. Thursday, 7100 block of Pete Lane Northwest. Someone attempted to steal a vehicle. While the vehicle was not stolen, a GPS unit inside the vehicle was taken.

Fraud by credit card

3:40 p.m. Thursday, Birchmont Drive Northeast. Unauthorized use of a credit card was reported.

Theft

8:45 a.m. Friday, Adams Avenue Northwest and Division Street West. Someone broke into a construction trailer and stole tools. The loss is valued between $1,500 and $2,000.

6:28 p.m. Saturday, 2500 block of Irvine Avenue North. Gray smoke reportedly coming from residence. Determined to not be a fire call; homeowner was cooking maple syrup.
