The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:
Theft
1:06 p.m. Friday, People's Church. Sweatshirts and identification were stolen sometime in the last two weeks.
Theft from vehicle
3:25 p.m. Friday, 900 block of America Avenue Northwest. A CD case and about 100 CDs were stolen. The loss is valued at $1,585.
Hit-and-run accident
3:55 p.m. Saturday, 2400 block of Middle School Drive Northwest.
Gas drive-off theft
6:45 p.m. Saturday, 2400 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest.
Party complaint
10:53 p.m. Saturday, Calihan Avenue Northeast.
Sheriff's report
The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls:
Theft
9:28 a.m. Friday, Ruttger's Birchmont Lodge. Six fishing poles and reels and one tackle box were stolen. The loss to the two victims is valued at $1,750.
Burglary
10:23 a.m. Saturday, Solway Bar and Grill. Four bottles of brandy, one bottle of vodka, one bottle of tequila, one bottle of whiskey, five cartons of cigarettes, two guitars and about 50 lighters were stolen. A possible suspect was named.
Gas drive-off thefts
9:41 a.m. Saturday, 100 block of Convenience Lane Southeast.
3:20 p.m. Saturday, 8000 block of Irvine Avenue Northwest.
Party complaint
4:13 p.m. Saturday, 6000 block of Dove Court Northwest.
Peace disturbance
8:32 p.m. Saturday, 600 block of 24th Street Northeast.
Fire report
The Bemidji Fire Department responded to the following calls:
6:32 p.m. Saturday, 1600 block of Heartland Drive. Grass fire.
7:53 p.m. Saturday, 13600 block of Power Dame Road Northeast. Chimney fire. Sixteen firefighters were on scene for about 50 minutes.
11:29 p.m. Saturday, Hannah Road and state Highway 197. Possible car crash, nothing found.
2:07 a.m. Monday, 1000 block of Birchmont Drive Northwest. A house fire was reported and 26 firefighters were on scene for about one hour with seven vehicles. Minimal damage was reported.
8:47 a.m. Monday, 700 block of 33rd Street Northwest. Medical call.
11:17 a.m. Monday, Harmony Foods. Medical call.
