Police and Fire Report for June 6
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:
10:34 p.m. Monday, 1300 block of Anne Street Northwest. The theft of an EBT (electronic benefits transfer) card was reported.
3:55 p.m. Monday, 900 block of 20th Street Northwest. A female reported two individuals smoking marijuana.
3:23 p.m. Monday, 1800 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. An officer responded to a report of an attempt to pass counterfeit money.
10:22 a.m. Monday, 500 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. Counterfeit money was passed at Orton's.
The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls:
11:55 p.m. Monday, 5600 block of Alps Court Northwest. A back window of a parked vehicle was broken out by a hammer.
9:40 p.m. Monday, 1000 block of Chief Boyd Drive Northeast, Cass Lake. An initial report of a stolen vehicle was unfounded, but a subject was found assaulted in the area. The victim was taken to the Cass Lake Indian Hospital for treatment. Two men were arrested, one on an outstanding warrant and no drink violation, and the other on suspicion of fifth-degree assault.
12:53 p.m. Monday, 100 block of Convenience Lane Southeast. Gas drive-off theft from Cenex South.
10:15 a.m. Monday, Tyler Avenue Southeast. Items were stolen from a construction trailer.
