Police Report
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:
Thefts
5:54 a.m. Wednesday, 1100 block of Roosevelt Road Southeast. Property damage and theft from a vehicle was reported.
4:18 a.m. Wednesday, Fifth Street Northeast and Gould Avenue Northeast. Property damage and theft from a vehicle was reported.
8:33 p.m. Tuesday, 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. A wallet was stolen inside Walmart.
7:23 p.m. Tuesday, 2400 block of Bemidji Avenue North. A cell phone was stolen.
4:42 p.m. Tuesday. Two bicycles were stolen off the bike trail near the old railroad bridge.
11:56 a.m. Tuesday, 1500 block of Birchmont Drive Northeast. The theft of $132.50 was reported.
11:43 a.m. Tuesday, 2200 block of Division Street West. Gas drive-off theft from JackStop.
10:19 a. m. Tuesday, 1100 block of Bemidji Avenue Northwest. Theft from a vehicle was reported.
Sheriff's Report
The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls:
Fraud
10:22 a.m. Tuesday, Rodeo Drive Northwest. An Eckles Township resident wired $1,300 to an address in Lagos, Nigeria, via Western Union.
Thefts
10:12 a.m. Tuesday, Shetland Lane Northwest. A pack of cigarettes and a cell phone charger were stolen from a vehicle.
10 a.m. Tuesday, Whitetail Road Northeast. The theft of tools was reported.
Fire Report
The Bemidji Fire Department responded to the following calls:
8:06 p.m. Tuesday, 600 block of Lake Avenue Southeast. Wildland fire.
3:31 a.m. Wednesday, 2900 block of Roosevelt Road Southeast. Police assist.
