The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:
Tamper with motor vehicle
4:22 p.m. Tuesday, 800 block of America Avenue Northwest. A man reported that he believed someone was tampering with his gas tank.
Thefts
8:53 a.m. Wednesday, 2700 block of Minnesota Avenue Northwest. Headlight pieces were stolen from a vehicle.
12:12 p.m. Wednesday, 2900 block of Pine Ridge Avenue Northwest. A theft was reported that had occurred on the powwow grounds in Cass Lake. The reporting party was advised to contact the Cass County Sheriff's Office.
Property damage
8:24 a.m. Wednesday, 2000 block of Norton Avenue Northwest.
Gas drive-off theft
5:17 p.m. Wednesday, 2400 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest.
Party complaint
12:24 a.m. Thursday, 800 block of 26th Street Northwest.
Peace disturbance
1:09 a.m. Thursday, Gould Avenue Northeast.

The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls:
Animal bite
6:52 p.m. Wednesday, 18900 block of Andrusia Road Southeast, Cass Lake. Deputies were dispatched to North Country Regional Hospital for a report that a 2-year-old girl had been bitten by a dog. The dog was placed in quarantine for 14 days.
Peace disturbance
8:49 p.m. Wednesday, 5600 block of Alps Court Northwest.
Party complaint
1:08 a.m. Thursday, Old Silver Lake Road Northeast.

7:37 p.m. Wednesday, 300 block of Eighth Street Northwest. Caller reported smell of burning plastic.
