The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:
Motor vehicle theft
6:59 a.m. Wednesday, 500 block of Third Street Southeast, Cass Lake. A 1997 red Chevrolet Blazer was stolen.
Thefts from vehicle
4:13 p.m. Wednesday, 500 block of Fourth Street Southeast. A vehicle was damaged and stereo was taken.
4:51 p.m. Wednesday, 600 block of Miles Avenue Southeast. A purse was stolen from a vehicle.
4:01 p.m. Wednesday, Lake Bemidji waterfront. A fight was reported, and a man was assaulted. The suspects were not immediately located.
4:03 p.m. Wednesday, 1000 block of Fifth Street Southeast. A man reported that bird feeders and hooks were stolen sometime between May 1 and May 31. The loss is valued at $75.
1:49 a.m. Wednesday, 600 block of America Avenue Northwest.
10:04 p.m. Wednesday, 1600 block of 23rd Street Northwest.
7:13 p.m. Wednesday, Bemidji Avenue North.
The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following:
9:07 a.m. Wednesday, 7400 block of Jewel Drive Northeast. A suspicious e-mail was reported.
3:47 p.m. Wednesday, Wilton Liquor Store. A man was arrested on suspicion of assault after he allegedly threw a beer bottle at a bartender.
8:02 a.m. Wednesday, 12200 block of Trengrove Road Northwest.
9:58 a.m. Wednesday, 5800 block of Division Street West.

1:42 p.m. Wednesday, 100 block of Convenience Lane Southwest.
10:21 p.m. Wednesday, 19900 block of Lake Julia Drive Northwest.

1:37 p.m. Wednesday, 1800 block of 30th Street Northwest. Medical call.
3:14 p.m. Wednesday, Walmart. Medical call.
4:12 p.m. Wednesday, Lake Bemidji waterfront. Medical call.
4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Lake Bemidji. Capsized sailboat. Sheriff's Office's boat removed victim from water prior to FD arrival. The FD was canceled en route.
8:23 p.m. Wednesday, Bemidji State University Bangsberg Hall. Rubbish fire in parking lot.
8:36 p.m. Wednesday, 900 block of Fourth Street Northwest. An outdoor deep fryer was on fire.
8:49 p.m. Wednesday, 1400 block of Irvine Avenue North. Medical call.
10:34 p.m. U.S. Highway 2. Mutual-aid call to Ainsworth to assist Cass Lake Fire Department.
