Police Report
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:

Theft
12:08 p.m. Sunday, 1100 block of Paul Bunyan Drive South. A cell phone was lost or stolen.
Disturbing the peace
2:16 a.m. Sunday, intersection of Donald Avenue Southeast and Roosevelt Road Southeast. A city truck was reportedly pounding the road. A city worker said there was a possible sewer backup and they were doing maintenance.
1:16 a.m. Sunday, intersection of Irvine Avenue Northwest and Ninth Street Northwest. Officers found a party after a loud noise was reported in the area. No one answered the door.
Assault
5:39 p.m. Saturday, 2900 block of Pine Ridge Avenue Northwest. A man was arrested for felony second-degree assault and misdemeanor domestic assault.
4:01 a.m. Saturday, 3600 block of Bemidji Avenue North. A fight was reported in the street.
Pursuit
2:04 a.m. Saturday, 500 block of Waterfront Way Southwest. A man was arrested for felony fleeing from police in a motor vehicle and misdemeanor fourth-degree DWI.
Traffic stop
12:07 a.m. Saturday, intersection of Washington Avenue South and Roosevelt Road Southeast. Six people were cited for underage drinking and driving, and open bottle.
Sheriff’s Report
The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls:
Vehicle calls/complaints
4:01 p.m. Saturday, Knappen Hill Road Northeast and State Highway 71 Northeast in Port Hope. A bus was stuck in a ditch and was blocking traffic.
Assist
1:25 p.m. Saturday, Bemidji. Child abuse was reported.
Fire Report
The Bemidji Fire Department responded to the following calls:
5:16 p.m. Saturday, 1400 block of 30th Street Northwest. Smoke was filling an apartment.
12:57 a.m. Sunday, 1200 block of 30th Street Northwest. An alarm went off due to burnt food.
11:36 a.m. Sunday, 1800 block of Bemidji Avenue North. Medical call.
11:15 a.m. Monday, 700 block of Mahnomen Drive Southeast. Medical call.
