The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls:

Assist
4:41 p.m. Wednesday, Old Willow Court Northwest. A man was arrested for fleeing on foot and testing positive for methamphetamine.3
Traffic stop
2:21 p.m. Wednesday, Swenson Road Southeast and Roosevelt Road Southeast in Frohn. A man was arrested on a warrant and fifth-degree controlled substance possession and third-degree DWI.
Animal
6:45 a.m. Wednesday, state Highway 89. A driver was cited for striking a horse and leaving the scene of the accident.
