Police and fire report for December 5
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:
8:35 p.m. Monday, 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. An officer was involved in a motor vehicle pursuit with a shoplifting suspect. The suspect was arrested on charges of fleeing a police officer, theft and assault.
6:31 p.m. Monday, 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. A theft was reported.
2:24 p.m. Monday, 1000 block of Anne Street Northwest. A theft was reported.
The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls:
6:30 p.m. Monday, Gull Lake Loop Road Northwest. A minivan ran into a semi tractor trailer, resulting in one minor injury.
12:28 p.m. Monday, 8000 block of Irvine Avenue Northwest. Gas was taken without payment in Northern Township.
12:22 p.m. Monday, intersection of Irvine Avenue Northwest and Sea Turtle Lane Northwest. A man was arrested for driving after cancelation inimical to public safety and the female passenger was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

6:04 p.m. Monday, 1200 block of 30th Street Northwest. Fire alarm.
7:31 a.m. Tuesday, 100 block of Circle Pines Drive Northwest. Medical call.
10:19 a.m. Tuesday, 9600 block of Cardinal Road Northwest. Wood pile fire.
10:22 a.m. Tuesday, 1100 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. Multiple water flow alarms were reported.
