Police and fire report for December 28

Police Report
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:

Alarm
9:25 p.m. Wednesday, 2200 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. Officers responded to an alarm at Payless Shoes and found an open door in the back. An intoxicated man was lying on the ground near the rear of the building. He was arrested on an out of county warrant.
Thefts
5:37 p.m. Wednesday, 1400 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. A man was arrested on felony drug possession charges, as well as theft and violating probation.
Burglary
11:35 a.m. Wednesday, 200 block of Gemmel Avenue Southwest. A burglary was reported.
Property damage
9:54 a.m. Wednesday, 2500 block of Birchmont Drive Northeast. The Cameron Park sign was hit and knocked over.
Sheriff’s Report
The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls:
Assist
3:42 p.m. Wednesday, Highway 2 ramp. Assisted state patrol with traffic control after a one car accident with no injuries.
Animal
11:44 a.m. Wednesday, Grange Road Northwest. Deputies conducted traffic control while the owner of some horses corralled them back into pasture.
Property
6:33 a.m. Wednesday, intersection of Archery Road Northwest and Grant Valley Road Northwest. Deputies responded to the location of an abandoned stolen vehicle.
Fire Report
The Bemidji Fire Department responded to the following calls:
2:48 p.m. Wednesday, 2800 block of Last Road Northwest. A house fire was reported, but ended up being a brush pile fire behind house.
3:36 p.m. Wednesday, east side of Lake Bemidji. Several controlled burns.
11:26 p.m. Wednesday, 2100 block of Roosevelt Road Southeast. A trailer was reportedly on fire, turned out to be a clothes pile on fire.
10:53 a.m. Thursday, intersection of Third Street and Bemidji Avenue. Motor vehicle accident with no reported injuries.
