Police report

The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:

Thefts

5:43 p.m. Dec. 14, Murphy oil USA. A Nintendo DS game was taken from a vehicle. The loss is valued at $25.

9:33 p.m. Wednesday, Best Western. Two TVs were discovered missing from hotel rooms. One, described as a Phillips 37-inch flat-screen TV, was located a pawn shop. A suspect was arrested.

1:10 p.m. Friday, Havenwood Care Center. A $20 bill was reported missing.

10:48 a.m. Saturday, 2400 block of Calihan Avenue Northeast. A Hewlett-Packard Pavilion laptop and DVD player were stolen.

1 p.m. Saturday, 2500 block of Lake Avenue Northeast. A diamond men's ring was reported stolen.

Burglaries

8:59 a.m. Saturday, 800 block of Irvine Avenue Northwest. A flat-screen TV and a five-piece surround-sound system were reported missing. Clothing and garbage had been thrown around the home and a TVstand was damaged.

4:12 a.m. Sunday, 2800 block of Bemidji Avenue North. A male suspect was reported to be attempting forced entry into a residence.

2:25 a.m. Saturday, 600 block of America Avenue Northwest.

Fire

10:11 am. Saturday, 27300 block of U.S. Highway 71 Northeast, Blackduck. A chimney fire was reported. The Blackduck Fire Department responded.

Theft

2:59 p.m. Saturday. Someone reported that tabs were stolen from a vehicle at some point in the last three weeks.

3:52 a.m. Saturday, 900 block of 30th Street Northwest.

Peace disturbance

1:37 a.m. Sunday, 20500 block of Gull lake Loop Road Northeast.

4:01 p.m. Sunday, Walmart. Possible release of hazardous material was reported.

5:32 p.m. Sunday, 3000 block of Silver Birch Court Northwest. Medical call.

11:53 p.m. Sunday, 1000 block of 12th Street Northwest. Medical call.

4:27 a.m. Monday, 2500 block of Ridgeway Avenue Northwest. A woman went into labor and delivered the infant at the residence. The woman and the newborn were taken by Bemidji Ambulance to North Country Regional Hospital.
