Police and Fire Report for August 24

Police Report
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:
Thefts
6:21 a.m. Thursday, Park Avenue Northwest and Ninth Street Northwest. A vehicle was broken into and a car stereo was stolen.
9:10 p.m. Wednesday, 1200 block of 23rd Street Northwest. A green and chrome BMX bicycle was stolen from the Bemidji Skate Park.
12:51 p.m. Wednesday, 600 block of 11th Street Northwest. Bike theft.
9:15 a.m. Wednesday, 900 block of Irvine Avenue Northwest. A purse was stolen from a vehicle.
8:06 a.m. Wednesday, 900 block of Maurice Avenue Northwest. A handgun and XM radio were stolen from a vechicle.
Assault
5:34 p.m. Wednesday, 1900 block of Middle School Drive Northwest. Two middle-school students were fighting after football practice.

The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls:
Burglaries
11:52 p.m. Wednesday, Patriot Drive Northwest. An attempted burglary was reported.
3:14 p.m. Wednesday, 1100 block of Augusta Drive Northeast. A bike was stolen from a garage.
