The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:

Thefts

6:38 p.m. Friday, Walmart. A purse containing about $2,000 cash, credit cards, identification and a Blackberry cell phone was stolen.

8:23 p.m. Friday, 1400 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. A Dell Inspiron laptop was stolen from a vehicle. The loss is valued at $550.

Burglaries

11:29 a.m. Saturday, 400 block of Kay Avenue Southeast. A residence was burglarized. Reported possibly stolen were an Xbox 360, Wii game and sneakers.

1:39 a.m. Sunday, 900 block of Carter Circle Southeast. A Compaq desktop computer was stolen.

Theft from vehicle

12:39 p.m. Saturday, 600 block of 36th Street Northwest. A gray Adidas duffle bag was stolen that contained personal papers and aviation accessories.

Bike theft

7:27 p.m. Saturday, 1300 block of Second Street Southeast. A 26-inch Huffy men's mountain bike was stolen.

Motor vehicle theft

2:35 a.m. Sunday, Perkins. A 2001 white Ford Range was stolen.

Party complaint

2:21 a.m. Saturday, 1800 block of Minnesota Court Northwest.

Motor vehicle tampering

12:05 p.m. Sunday, Bemidji Chrysler Center. A steering column and back window were tampered with.
