Police Report
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:
Drugs
12:08 a.m. Friday, 1600 block of Calihan Avenue Northeast. Females were reported to be attempting to buy marijuana. Officers located and cited for various offenses.
Disorderly conduct
12:48 a.m. Friday, 2500 block of Birchmont Drive Northeast. One person arrested for no-drink violation after officers found group of people in park.
2:56 a.m. Thursday, 800 block of 26th Street Northwest. Subjects made multiple 911 calls about people knocking on door and running.
Fraud
9:37 p.m. Thursday. Officers spoke to a man concerned that his father was being scammed.
10:59 a.m. Thursday. City was "stiffed" by customer passing a fraudulent traveler's check.
Thefts
7:03 p.m. Thursday, 900 block of 26th Street Northwest. Woman reported her daughter's bike was stolen.
11:17 a.m. Thursday, 3800 block of Moberg Drive Northwest. Caller reported kids horsing around in his yard and taking apples.
Accidents
5:07 p.m. Thursday, intersection of Highway 197 and Hannah Avenue. Driver cited for inattentive driving and no proof of insurance after two-vehicle accident.
5:04 p.m. Thursday, Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. Report of accident with vehicle striking bicyclist, who was transported to hospital for evaluation of minor injuries.
4:07 p.m. Thursday, Park Avenue and Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. Van sideswiped by semi as both vehicles turned south from Highway 197.
Harassment
12:52 p.m. Thursday, Second Street Southeast. Report of possible stalking.
Sex crime
8:04 a.m. Thursday. Report of sexual assault approximately three years ago.

The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls:
Sex crime
3:36 p.m. Thursday. Report assault which occurred in July, investigation continuing.
Animal
1:24 p.m. Thursday, Nebish Road and Irvine Avenue Northwest. Loose cow, owner not located but cow made it to pasture.
Harassment
9:55 a.m. Thursday. Tampering with mailbox in Hamre Township.
Fraud
8:53 a.m. Thursday, Chad Drive Northwest. Fraudulent "grandma" phone scam.
