Police and fire report for April 1
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:
9:35 p.m. Friday, 400 block of Bemidji Avenue North. Request to remove a female form a minivan. The 30-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and obstructing with force.
9:23 p.m. Friday, Sherman Drive Northeast. Five or six gunshots were reportedly heard in the area. Their source was not located.
9:04 p.m. Friday, 2800 block of Ridgeway Avenue Northwest. A female ordered a pizza. When it was delivered, she refused to pay for it. The complainant and the female were advised.
7:48 p.m. Friday, 1100 block of Paul Bunyan Drive South. A gas drive-off theft of $30 was reported.
The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls:
10:13 p.m. Friday, Northwoods Boat Access. The scent of marijuana was detected. The driver admitted to smoking it and produced a small baggie of a green, leafy substance. The driver was cited.
2:21 a.m. Friday, 2700 First Street East. Loud music.
