The Fifth Annual Midwinter Interlude Art Show by Bemidji State University’s faculty and staff is now in the Ramsey Gallery on the ground floor of Bangsberg’s complex through March 14. Open to the public at no cost, the Midwinter Interlude has grown from 17 to nearly 30 exhibitors. Works on display have included photography, stained glass, sculpture, jewelry, quilting, knitting, drawing and painting, fishing tackle, and other forms of arts

Friends of the Arts award nominations are due Friday. The award is open to art teachers, artistsin all forms, volunteers, community and art advocates. Sponsored by the Waterman Arts Center and First National Bank Bemidji, this is the 26th year for the selection of a living person or couple who has been devoted to the arts and donated time, effort, resources or talents to promote the arts in the greater Bemidji area.
