The Bemidji High girls finished second while the boys took third Friday at the Longbow Invitational golf meet.
Playing the Walker area layout, site of the Section 8AA tournament this year, Grand Rapids took the girls title with a 333 to 357 for Bemidji.
Detroit Lakes' Red and White teams completed the four team field.
Mikki Kromy of Grand Rapids was medalist with a 77.
For Bemidji, Megan Phelps shot 87 to finish fifth. Emily Frosaker had 88, Shelby Sauer 89 and Kelsey Bretschneider 93 to complete the scoring.
The kickers were Erin Buckanaga 100 and Marissa Loch 110, both posting their low rounds of the year.
The girls again join the boys squad at the Wadena co-ed invitational today at Whitetail Run.
Detroit Lakes won the boys title with 307 to 310 for Grand Rapids. Bemidji had 318, nine strokes under its low score this spring.
Conner Hedstrom of DL was medalist at 72 with teammate Tanner Lane and Luke Sheetz and Matt Cluve of Grand Rapids at 75.
Kevin Larson was fifth for Bemidji at 76.
Kaleb Hanson had 79, Trey Dale 80 and Rylee Curb 83 to complete the scoring.
The kickers were Joe Welle 84 and Max Hazelton 85. For Hanson, Dale and Hazelton the scores were their season's best.
