Peterson vote wrong on clean air energy measure
We all need to be asking Collin Peterson about his position on the federal climate change bill, the American Clean Energy and Security Act.
The proposed capping of emissions and trading of emissions allowances are pretty complicated stuff, but there is one provision we all can understand. There are no caps on the price of these allowances, so our energy costs can go sky high.
These costs will be passed along to consumers as the allowances and other compliance costs are reflected in energy prices and in all the goods and services produced with energy. So, talk to Rep. Peterson about protecting consumers.
