RuBee Peterson has volunteered her services in the library of Oak Hills Christian College for 11 years. Each day, she faithfully walks from her home to the library where she helps serve the patrons and assists with library services.

"In her sweet and gentle manner, she ministers to students and staff alike as she demonstrates love, care, and concern for those that cross her path. Oak Hills Christian College is deeply grateful for her gracious service," said Steven Hostetter, president OHCC.

David Schlering regularly travels approximately one and a half hours from his home to volunteer with Oak Hills.

Over the past four years, Peterson has worked tirelessly in assisting Oak Hills with its efforts to re-open the Mokahum Ministry Center in Cass Lake.

His efforts include writing letters, working on renovating the facilities, arranging for church work teams, ensuring legal requirements are met, and securing resources for renovation.

"Oak Hills is deeply grateful for his willing, eager, sacrificial service," said Hostetter.

Oak Hills Fellowship is a Christian nonprofit agency that serves the region through Oak Hills Christian College, Camp Oak Hills, and the Center for Indian Ministry.
