PBTV adds HSN, BYUtv channels
Paul Bunyan Television has Home Shopping Network and Brigham Young University Television to its channels for PBTV digital service subscribers.
HSN, on PBTV channel 12, is a $2.8 billion interactive multi-channel retailer with direct-to-consumer expertise. It created the television retail industry 31 years ago and now reaches more than 90 million homes.
BYUtv is on PBTV channel 396. Since its launch in January 2000, BYUtv has been committed to providing uplifting and entertaining programming that enables viewers to see the good in the world around them. Its primary source of programming comes from the activities and educational resources of BYU and its sponsoring institution, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Paul Bunyan Television now offers more than 240 all-digital networks, more than 25 HD networks, PBTV On Demand and DVR service. More channels will be added in the next several months, both in standard definition and HD.
Paul Bunyan Telephone Cooperative has been offering communication services to Northern Minnesota since 1952. The cooperative will change its name to Paul Bunyan Communications effective Monday, Oct. 11. Services include local and long distance phone service, Internet services through Paul Bunyan Net, digital television service through Paul Bunyan Television, and more. Service availability depends upon location.
