PBT adds four HD networks to service

BEMIDJI - Paul Bunyan Communications has added four more networks in high definition to PBTV HD service. The new HD networks are Investigation Discovery, Animal Planet, The Science Channel and Hub.

Science Channel HD, PBTV channel 778, immerses viewers in the possibilities of science, from string theory and futuristic cities to accidental discoveries and outrageous inventions.

Investigation Discovery HD, PBTV channel 691, provides in-depth documentaries and series that challenge viewers on key issues shaping culture and defining the world.

Animal Planet HD, PBTV channel 760, gives a full range of the animal kingdom with entertainment, information and enrichment.

Hub HD, PBTV channel 706, is available to PBTV HD subscribers who also subscribe to PBTV Extra. The Hub provides a playful, transformative world that brings kids and their families together through clever stories and engaging characters. A new network for kids and families, with original animation, live-action, game shows and specials, The Hub's programming is intended to entertain, enlighten, empower and educate.

PBTV HD service can be added to PBTV service for a $9.95 monthly equipment fee. PBTV HD subscribers will receive the HD channels of the digital channels to which they subscribe. Additional subscriptions may be required to receive all HD channels available.
