Paul Bunyan Stampede will cap season at Bemidji Raceway

BEMIDJI — The final racing event of the 2013 racing season at Bemidji Speedway will be Saturday and Sunday when the track hosts the38th annual Paul Bunyan Stampede.

The event will include racing in the Wissota Super Stocks, Wissota Midwest Modifieds, Wissota Mod Fours, Bemidji Pure Stocks and Mini Stocks divisions.

The Wissota cars will also be running for two complete shows of national points. Drivers and crews from throughout the Midwest are expected to be on hand for the two-day special.

Saturday night the track will also provide live music after the races.

The final event of the 2013 racing season will be the Awards Night Dec. 7 at the Keg N’ Cork in downtown Bemidji. Awards will be presented to this year’s track champions in each of the five classes.
