Patt Rall Arts Column for Feb. 3: Series to highlight culture of northern Minnesota

Common Ground, the new Lakeland Public Television weekly series highlighting the artistic and historical culture of northern and central Minnesota, will feature two well-known Bemidji artists this week: Christina Thorne of Bad Cat Creations and Josh Boock, a master potter who will explain his view of Southern Folk Art Pottery. The third exhibitor, Dick Carlson, will talk about the train depot in Nisswa. The show will be broadcast at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, and repeated at 6 p.m.
